Eastern Oregon's Owyhee River is considered a river to fish before you die. We had a chance to hit it up last Spring before the crowds got really crazy. It didn't hurt that it was supposed to be a near monsoon according to the weatherman, keeping all the other anglers safely dry in their homes. Once the showers had died down, we had a blast catching brown hogs on dries all day long, with the occasional switch to streamers for a little variety.
