Slick Rick by Mo is how the night started with a night of hip hop legends gracing Portland's Roseland Theater. The human beat box Rahzel was amazing to see. Up until this performance the best beatboxers I've seen were Spearhead's Radioactive, and Portland's Fogatron. The Beatnuts were great with their classics and new hits as well, then the ruler took the stage. Sporting a chain gang that would make Mr. T envious Slick Rick the Ruler emerged as the long awaited crowed favorite. Just his presence on the stage alone demanded respect, he didn't have to say a word. Then came the old school familiar flows that we all love so much. The ruler has spoken.

Several months back right before "Show you the World" dropped we did a photo session in the hills of Oakland. This is what we came up with.

LIVING LEGENDS IN PORTLAND

The Living Legends visit Portland, dropping some new and old favorites at Berbati's Pan.
As always it was a great show with lots of energy, and an unforgettable encore.

After LL show DJ ATM was
spinning all night in the bar section of Berbati's.
