Several months back right before "Show you the World" dropped we did a photo session in the hills of Oakland. This is what we came up with.

FIRST THURSDAY ONCE AGAIN IN PORTLAND. I SPENT THE EVENING AT UPPER PLAYGROUND ON FIFTH AND COUCH FOR THE "From the Desk of Whatsherface" OPENING. DJ SAFI (SHAYLA) WAS SPINNING SOME DOPE BEATS AS RED HOOK BREWERY WAS HANDING OUT THEIR TASTY SEASONAL BREWS, AND VISO WAS PASSING OUT THEIR ICE COLD ENERGY DRINKS.
THERE WAS A TRIO OF ARTISTS DURRING THIS SHOW featuring Mel Kadel (Juxtapoz #90) Travis Millard (Juxtapoz #87) and Michael Sieben (Juxtapoz #81.)

AS ALWAYS UPPER PLAYGROUND DOESN'T DISSAPOINT IN IT'S OPENINGS

LIVING LEGENDS IN PORTLAND

The Living Legends visit Portland, dropping some new and old favorites at Berbati's Pan.
As always it was a great show with lots of energy, and an unforgettable encore.

After LL show DJ ATM was
spinning all night in the bar section of Berbati's.

Portland's premiere shoe boutique held it's new Portland themed Adidas shoe release party last night at Holocene.
Compound was recently invited by Adidas to join the Consortium group which consists of 24 premier boutiques in the world. The current project from the Adidas Consortium Group is the “AZX project”. Each Consortium partner is charged with customizing the Adidas ZX running shoe. The Compound-Adidas sneaker incorporates the soul and lifestyle of Portland into every pair of shoes with the highest quality textiles and a classic rose pattern over black that symbolizes the city of roses. Like an artist’s print this sneaker is available in limited quantities.

THE GORGE GAMES 2008

The Gorge Games began in 1994 and has a history of being one of the most dynamic, exciting action and outdoor sports events in the Pacific Northwest . As for me I decided to take a little road trip on my day off to see some world class kayaking down the White Salmon River. Which by the way is incredibly beautiful!

A Trip Up The River.

I just got a new Galvin fly reel for my big 30th birthday, I took it out today for a test drive on the Clackamas River.
There were some kayaking going on too, which took me back to my photographic roots with Rapid Shooters, now Hotshot Imaging in Coloma, California. Where I shot a lot of whitewater rafting on the American River.
